Anyone work in a control room?

Afternoon all,

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice/opinions on working for a control room within the Police.

I know what they do day to day (I'm a Special), but more what its like day to day as a job.

Also looking at the non emergency control room. I guess that the roles are similar.
