Have an interview for a service-advisor role on Wednesday.
I've had previous auto-industry experience as well as customer service roles.

What can I expect and what should I prepare for the interview?
Thanks chaps, David.

Almost sure to be competence based.. eg
"Tell me about a time you had to... (deal with a difficult customer / go out of your way to sort out a customers problem / etc etc) what did you do and what was the outcome"

Just try and think of a few things you have done in the past that may be relevant & can bring to mind easily on the day.

Try to demonstrate you understand the main job functions. These days its much less about mechanical knowledge and much more about customer service, retention and capturing data.

The most important function is selling additional work identified by the techs, mostly by phone, so a good confident phone manner and sales skills are essential along with the ability to quickly and accurately cost this work.
