Have you gone paperless?

I have a typical corporate manager job which consists of lots of meetings and phone lists, ideas and summaries of discussions. I no longer print anything but the notebook habit is a hard one to break. I need to keep a record or I forget to do the small stuff and get a shoeing. My current notebook is coming to an end and I would like to try to make the jump to totally paperless.

Anyone else gone paper free and if so what do you use? I currently have a Windows laptop and iPhone 5. I would prefer not to lug the laptop around so something on the iPhone or another small device would be perfect.

At work I document all of my case notes on projects that I am working with on an iPad, I have an iPhone 4S and I can retrieve notes on either device and should any of the higher ups wish to do so they can pull up my diary of sorts on a project I am working on based on the case number. I also get emailed things for work-related perks etc.

I have tried to go paperless, but i cannot type / communicate my thoughts into an electronic device as quickly as I can on a notebook.

We are paperless for pretty much everything else, but as a firm we do recommend note taking in meetings over electronic devices.

I use a Livescribe pen and notepads, so I can upload written notes into it's own manager and/or Evernote. It has enough OCR to be able to search my awful handwriting. That way I have the speed and convenience of paper, with the backup and searchability of data. I use Evernote for just about everything else, so it's on my mac, iPad, iPhone and any other machine that has a browser.

That sounds about spot on. Like Toohuge said, I also would have trouble typing as fast as I would need to get the information down so a Livescribe pen could be the answer. Evernote also looks like it would fit the bill. Thanks
