So..

I had a final interview with a partner from one of the Big 4 yesterday which seemed to have gone well.

The partner gave me his card and said to email/call if I have any further questions or worries…..

Should I follow up with an email thanking him for his time or is this a little ott ?

Cheers
T

Definitely send a Thanks and an intimation that you remain most keen in filling the position and the hope that they view you as a suitable candidate.

It shows initiative and manners. Don't see a problem with that!

Good Luck in getting the job.

E-mail thanking them and unless they told you previosuly maybe ask when you will be hearing from them, as you are really keen on the role, - word it better than that obviously, the sheer fact you did it may bump you from option 2 to option 1.

Absolutely send one.

As said, thank him for his time. If there were any problems, or anything which you didn't feel you answered as well as could have, use it as a chance to just reiterate why you're the guy for the job.

Gobsmacked how many people don't send thank you emails.
