That looks like a slightly posher version of a spam email I regularly get - salary is often in €. Suspect it's just phishing spam.

Worrying if they've had a a recruiter "improve" it, the "you've won $3,457,789" or the "someone in Nigeria you've never heard of has died and left you all their money" scams might become mildly less obvious wink

I assumed that their key board has no £ key, so they type GBP (who uses GBP unless they are foreign scammers?) and the difference in times, means that they are somewhere other than the UK.

Why would it even occur to you to do anything other than delete after seeing the crap money? Its one second..see the money, make the decision, delete. There is no reason to care about where it was sent from who or why.
