Calibri looks very good for a CV. Probably not recommend though unless you are sure the person reading it has Microsoft Word.

Export it as a .PDF and send it that way. This ensures universal compatibility and no screwed up formatting.

Keep it relevant, proof read it, then proof read it again, and then ask someone else to proof read it.

A sans serif font looks much cleaner than TNR. As suggested, Calibri or Arial converted to PDF would be a better bet.

God, this is such a minefield. Looking on Google (probably a bad idea!) last night and there are so many styles that seems to be acceptable. This could take a while
