Job interview- dark blue suit okay or go with black or grey?

I'd go with blue just because I prefer a navy blue suit over a dark grey one.

The cleanest and least creased should be your priorities.

The interviewer will be more put off by a dishevelled look than your ability to accurately coordinate colours.

Unless you're going for a job in graphic design.

In which case jeans and a Motorhead t-shirt are fine anyway.

I wore a blue suit to an interview today, I normally wear black,grey,pin stripe in winter and blue and other lighter colours in summer but I fancied a navy one today

Easter bunny in an Easter display? I'd go in sports gear and prepare to do some physical activities. (Actually good advice as Chessington World of Adventures were looking for Christmas Elves last December and rocking up in a charcoal grey tailored suit would have been wrong.)

All I can say is that 1) I don't possess a black suit. And 2) I can say quite honestly that I have never, in interviewing anyone, noticed the colour of their suit.

Just wear whichever one looks nicest. Unless you're going in for a funeral director, in which case darker colours may be expected!

Your dress won't usually get you the role; but if you're looking crump, it can affect first impressions.

Dark, well fitting suit, plain shirt with contrasting tie, and black socks and black formal shoes should make sure that they are concentrating on you and not your presentation. good luck!

Well there is the well-worn story about the chap who goes for job interview, and the interviewer says 'You must meet the boss, he's a great guy... oh hang on here is now...'

And the boss walks in dressed as a woman. Oh haha rofl etc.

So you could turn the tables and turn up dressed as a woman and use it to test the mettle of your prospective employer... and if they pass, you will accept their job.
