IT job help

Hi Guys,
Couple of questions if anyone could help me.

I have an interview at HP-CDS next week for a role called: HSBC Managed Print Level 3 Support
First of all i currently work as an engineer for a small IT support company and do everything from server installs to telling someone how to change the formatting in Microsoft Word. I'm wanting to leave due to lack of progression opportunity and quite bad pay.

The salary for the job is sub 20k which is really low if is truly level 3 support? Unless i'm getting it confused with '3rd line support' and it's not the same.
Not sure whether it would really be a 'step up' where i could progress knowledge wise.

I'm unsure as too whether it would be wise to post the brief job description or not...

Also does anyone have any experience with HP-CDS or has anyone worked there?

Any comments would be appreciated thanks.

Also it's through an agency so no opportunity to speak to the employer until the interview. But don't want to waste my time and their's if it's not suitable

Have you spoken to the agency who is handling this role? They should be able to tell you what you want to know, maybe not in all the glorified detail, but at least enough to help you make a decision on whether to go forward or not.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried, but get the feeling that he wasn't all that up on the actual job itself.

Ask again. Tell them you don't want to waste the agency time, company time or your time. Tell them the reasons for your move and ask whether this opportunity fulfills those requirements.

Maybe just view the interview as experience? If the job you ever want actually comes up it would be helpful.

Going from All round techie to printer tech would do my nut in! And when it comes time to get back into a good role your most recent CV experience might appear to be limited to printers, which is not inspiring
