Anyone know of someone who writes CVs with you?
I need a CV ( never had one ) and would like an good, well written one.
I am in the Cotswolds, if that makes any difference and hope to be able to put together a good CV which I can then tweak if needed.

Also, what would you expect to pay for such a thing? I am useless at "biging myself up"

Well worth it I'd say, given how many CVs turn up for most job adverts these days. Important to make sure yours shows what you can do so the recruiters pick up on it.

I had mine tweaked recently by a local company who have experience of agency recruiting, cost £25 for a report on suggested changes and explanations of why the changes were suggested. Probably best not link them as my post count is a bit on the low side, so I'll let someone else suggest them, but my advice is definitely get it done, wish I'd done it sooner wink

I think as with all these things it depends heavily on the company.

As long as they add genuine value to your application then great, you want someone who'll help you include the right information and ensure you're presenting the best application possible - if they just add some pretty text to create "impact" then it's a waste of time.

Thanks Gary.

More than happy to help; just PM me. If you've got something you've been working on I'd be happy to give some feedback. If I thought it could do with a full review then I'd say so; equally, if I thought it came across as really competitive, I'd say so too.
