We are looking for an experienced ‘all rounder’ with excellent customer skills and willing to do whatever it takes to meet ultimate customer satisfaction. Motor trade experience preferred but not essential. How many years have you been in Baillieston now Barry? I grew up in the estate next to your place and remember my dad hiring a few vans from you over the years (I'm going back over 20 years now). Glad to see your company is still going strong - hope you find the right man for the job!

Hi Martin ...... thanks for the response . My dad started here at Baillieston Lights in June 1978 when I was eight years old at that time we sold heavy commercials and over the years we have slowly switched to the lighter commercials. We now sell approx. 400 light commercials per year to customers all over the UK - from Shetland to Jersey .

And for anyone else reading this, these guys have been around for a long time as Barry says so deal with them in confidence as I have only ever heard good things!

ps. Love the car Barry - surprisingly I have never seen it about. My dad recently sold his red 997 C4s cabriolet in favour of something my mother liked...women!

I'm not surprised you haven't seen the Porsche running around - its a 2006 with only 12000 miles (!!)don't use it much as Im in here 7 days. Here is my other smaller pride and joy. Came from Japan... ( ps thanks for the kind comments - we simply do things the way they should be done and customers respect that :-)

Like the mini Barry - don't think I'd fit in it at 6 ft 3 lol.

My dad's 911 was the same - a 2006 model with 8k miles when he bought it from Sherwood Garage - sold it with less than 15k miles and mercedes gave him £25k! - think he paid nearer £40k for it.

If I could have afforded it at the time I would have snapped his hand off for it! Stunning cars but not for those who don't like people looking at them lol
