Bit vague that.

I'm assuming they are looking for Chartered in which case £30k start sounds low.

Might suit someone.

It's £30,000 to £40,000. If the role is ideal for a 'recently graduated accountant', meaning chartered, surely they'll be looking at the upper end of that range?

It's a finance analyst, if they were after a chartered accountant I guess they would be advertising for 'Chartered Accountant', perhaps?

IME finance analyst means management accountant. I'd guess they were looking for either CIMA or ACCA newly qualified and based on current market rates £30k seems reasonable.

£30-£40k for a company like that will get them loads of suitable candidates. Nobody says they need to be chartered.

That is motorsport though I think.

A lot of the engineering jobs are low as well. You go to work there because you love the sport and love working on F1 cars/technology. You don't get into motorsport for the money on any side of the coin.

williams are on the up and up, im sure they paid rob smedley a handsome sum to join the team. it would be a good place to be for future opportunities.
