Job as a vehicle delivery driver.

Having recently moved to a new area, I'm considering a job as a vehicle delivery driver. Has anyone got any experience of this job ?

I can manage the delivery of a vehicle easily enough, but it's the walk home that bothers me!

I used to work in sales and we had a few drivers we employed. They normally got public transport back to base and had to claim it all back. Our accounts dept were shocking and the drivers were always the last ones to be paid. They are unfortunately quite often considered the bottom of the pile.
