Hi All,

As I'm coming up to 6 months of unemployment I'm reaching out to the PH masses to see if there's someone on here with a position for me.

A brief overview of my career so far:

Spent 6 years working for a large breakdown company/insurance company in a number of positions, from providing training and coaching to new and existing employees and team leader duties; to resource planning and call queue management.

My primary role was dealing with complex breakdown recovery situations and managing them from start to finish, as well as dealing with supplier queries. This role included running kpi reports for call centre staff as well as on the performance of our suppliers, and a particular high was creating the backup breakdown call logging system, as well as saving the company over 3k per month with new solutions.

I left this role to move into an IT Analyst role for a multinational engineering consultancy, being the onsite IT for ~300 staff, and remote IT for an additional 1500, this was a 1st and 2nd line support role, including some server and wan/lan dongle maintainance. I gained experience in supporting esri, autocad, and several other engineering and bespoke applications in this time.

However, due to increasing workplace hostility and a breakdown in communication from new management, I resigned from this role after 6 months.

Summary:
Good IT troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service
Hardworking and willing to learn.

Try Leeds Uni and Leeds Met?

At least one role at Leeds Uni that might suit (PVCOM0034) though hard to tell from limited info.

I know of a role in a small healthcare IT company who are based near Leeds Uni. They are looking for an IT Support Analyst and are paying up to ~£23K.

PM me and I'll give you the details.

Not sure if we have anything at the moment, but try WSP.

We have an office in Leeds near the White Rose Centre.
