Wind Turbine Technician Help
Discussion
Hi,
Need some advise please if possible. I’ve recently had two good interviews with a big Wind Turbine Company in the Cambridgeshire area. Both interviews seemed to go well. But sadly i didn't get the job of Wind Turbine Service Technician. I’m a fully qualified HGV technician and seem to have only lost out as the other person had High Voltage experience. I was wondering if there is any training courses people could recommend. I have been thinking about doing GWO Working at Heights and first aid courses but now thinking about doing a City & Guilds Domestic Installation Electrical courses then the 17th Edition course as most companies will put you through the health & safety course anyways, really not sure what to do for the best.
Thanks

It depends upon exactly what gap you are attempting to fill. A more targeted approach based upon the essential competencies required of the roles you're interested in may be a better option? You've already had feedback you say on what you were short of this time; can you address that specific deficit? Good luck?
