been in a job 9 months and contract states 2 months notice.

if i get another job i said i would give 4 weeks notice(which is notice under probation which i passed in meantime), what is worst that happens..

Very worst case? Court, for breach of contract. That's unlikely though.

most people that leave only give 4 weeks.
