Registering as sole trader & NICs payments
Discussion
Hi all,
Just about to register as self-employed with HMRC and just had a question about applying for Small Earnings Exception.
I'm employed full-time, but have set up a little side line business which is expected to make no more than about £3000 in it's first year so was going to apply for SEE.
As I pay NI through my full-time job, are there any issues/disadvantages with not paying NI through my self-employment also?
Anything else I need to be cautious of?
Hope that makes sense!
Cheers
