Given the economy is growing I'd be surprised if unemployment wasn't falling.

It would be interesting to know how many of that 35000 are still in receipt of benefits as the 'job' they have is for five hours a week or some such..

I believe those in 'Back to work' schemes do not count as Unemployed. Doesn't mean they are employed either though.

Yes I meant un-employment .

I asked due to the rise in such stuff as zero hour contracts and those on ESA .

Are ex-MPs (miliband and co ) now un-employed and show as such ?

The majorty of people on zero hours contracts are happy with their working hours. Don't believe the left wing hype that its all nasty employers screwing their employees.

Both my wife and I are on zero hours and perfectly happy. If anything she wants less hours as she's getting more than she needs or wants.
