Job interview - Home insurance

Good evening PH.

Next week I have a interview for a home insurance sales role within one of the main banks.

It's not something that I've ever looked into before, but I enjoy talking to people and giving good customer service.

A friend has recommended me for the role, he used to do it when he first joined the company and says it was good fun.

One thing I'm a little bit worried about is the interview. I've been at my current job for nearly eight years, and when I got that it was more of a 'when can you start' type thing. I also had a interview for the Police, but that was pretty much going over my application form.

Any general advice and anything in relation to the job role.

I hire for similar roles but servicing commercial insurance, and I hire on personality and confidence. The insurance bit you can teach someone.....in fact i prefer it to hiring from within the industry.
