We relocated to Cornwall 2.5 years ago. My wife is a GP and was taking on a full time role down here. It was decided I would be a house husband due to children needing before and after school care. During this time I had a go at selling bits of photography from a little workshop/gallery. This went okay, but due to hours restrictions I gave it up.

I am now looking to get a part time job if possible but don't have a clue what to do! I have no qualifications of note as I started work for a food wholesaler from school, I have worked in food for 20 years plus. Apart from a stint as a director in an automotive company which cost me £250k plus!!

I don't have a trade or title to pursue, just want to earn.

I would try to avoid another directorship wink

Buy a carpet cleaner, take a driving job of some description, do a bit of gardening, grass cutting etc. Advertise in the local mag to get work.

If you are looking for school hour jobs, you could try teaching assistant.
