I had booked off some much needed time off work which was approved. I then handed in my notice. My AL has now been cancelled as my boss is worried about cover while I'm off. Should I just think fk it and take it regardless or play ball?

Have they been fair with you while you were there? if yes then I think it only fair you stay & work your notice.

Check this, but I think they can cancel AL and be reasonable as long as the notice they give you is twice the amount of time booked off. So if you had a week booked, they could cancel that at two weeks notice. Better question is if you agree to cancel, are you sure they will pay accrued but untaken AL?

A.Don`t have the time off,you will need a reference and they may refuse to give one.
B.Consider the fact you have made the right decision in getting away from the tts.
