Well today has been well and truly s
t.
We have just been informed by a PowerPoint presentation our UK office is being closed in June and the warehouse will closed once stock has been sent back to Germany.
Its been on the cards for a while with salesman not being replaced and when our Director left we were babysat by our French office.
But now im stuck in which way to take my career as being the Warehouse Manager I could move on but its a niche are we supply so other roles will be difficult due to the experience side. Or do I take a break and study as I am currently doing my distance Learning course ISOCM level 5 so I could finish this as im very lucky to have a Military ill health pension that will cover everything and my OH works full time.
Just pissed off that nobody was told before about losing there job it was done by fking powerpoint.

I found out about our place closing down on the internet. Took them another 7 hours to officially tell us! Job hunting for the first time in 30 years soon ( unless a miracle happens)king powerpoint. As said im just unsure what to do next so will sit down and have a think over the next few months.
The decision is being made by a through examination by our logistics director. It costs us under £6 for next day parcel where no they will pay £13 from Germany and there going to pull out 2 markets and focus on 1 market
