Hi guys,

I have been informed that I MUST attend this course over 4 months and then do a dissertation?

Is it worth doing?

How on earth I will find the time beggars belief..

Possibly!

Exactly what is the title of the course?

Finding time for CPD is a challenge, which is why most people don't do it. Those that can find the time through effort and reprioritisation of existing commitments usually reap the rewards.

Good luck!

I'm slogging away at the level 5 diploma by distance learning and it does require a big commitment. I may ultimately only achieve the certificate. However I did acquire a second special needs child last year which has obviously meant reprioritising.

I have learned a great deal from the course, and that alone has been worth it.

What course are you being asked to take?

I did it, so many hour sessions in my lunch break, we had to do a presentation about ourselves and what we learned to all our directors, MD and HR (think this was company requested) and then had to do the 3500 word essay.

Apart from the various hour sessions, I probably sank 2 hours into the presentation and the essay, a few colleagues spent 10 x that. I learnt a little, it was worthwhile and I needed the CPD.
