An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Skilled Automotive Engineer.
Topcats Racing is looking for a skilled Automotive Engineer to join their small but highly dedicated and dynamic team as they continue to grow their business as leading TVR, Corvette and V8 sports car specialists.
The team is also highly successful in the world of Endurance and Sports Car racing with several championship titles in their 14 year history. The team continue with their exciting racing programme in GT Cup, Britcar and Lamborghini Super Trofeo with their stable of race cars.
The successful applicant will be skilled in engine, gearbox and diff rebuilding, fabrication, fault diagnosis, general mechanical repairs and servicing.
Within a fantastic, recently custom built 10,000sq.ft workshop enjoying an exciting working environment you will be mainly workshop based, working on high performance sports cars as well as preparing and repairing race cars. You would also be required to work a number of weekends away with the team at race meetings; the majority of which will be in the UK with the possibility of some European trips. There may be other weekends that you will be required to assist with the teams calendar of workshop based events held throughout the year.
This will be Topcats Racing’s first appointment in over 10 years which is why they are looking for a loyal, dedicated, hardworking engineer who is passionate about cars and driven by attention to detail that will contribute to reinforcing success as a team and meeting customers high expectations.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
