Morning all,

Is anyone here in the CV makeover business? Or has used a firm or individual they could recommend? Many thanks.

I have not heard anything good about the larger firms, to the point where someone got the same company to check one they had done prevent they suggested a full rewrite at £xxx

You'd be best avoiding the large firms.

I used a self employed writer I found on ebay (can't remember who specifically, but there are plenty).

It's in their best interests to do a good job and not just spew out some generic bullst as any bad reviews will hurt them far more.

I thought my CV was actually pretty good but she tore it to shreds and started from scratch hehe

I think it cost me £50, it came with a CV, Cover Letter, and I got it returned within a couple days. There are cheaper ones available but seeing as it's a CV it's worth going for someone who knows what they're doing.
