Anyone work in Insurance?

I'm in property insurance (Claims) and recently moved into a client facing role.

Just wondering if anyone else is in this industry? Seems a small pond - everyone knows everyone!

I would say in most jobs, client facing roles are to be avoided like the plague. Employment can be quite bearable if you don't have to deal with actual customers.

I'd far rather deal directly with clients than deal with the admittedly small proportion of brokers that were self important r soles.
