In need of Training materials

Hi all,

I've been hired by my relative's small pharmacy chain to run a series of training sessions for her sales stuff, who happen to know nothing about general sales, not to mention pharmacy sales techniques etc. I've been a trainer more than ten years ago in car sales, so forgot almost anything on the subject (a freelance pen since then). However, now I'm struggling to find a decent general purpose training materials online, since everything I've found needs to be paid for. Does anyone have a clue where I can get something? Thanks very much for any helpful advice.

Has this been declared, that you’re a relative in the company expenditure records, and did she openly tender or appoint you on what basis?

You need not to worry about that, the business is not in the UK. I just need a friendly helpful advice on where to get some open source materials. That's all

Given your 10 years of experience, you should be able to produce your own training material, it not rocket science when you know the material. If you don't know the material, how can you expect to present it. Sounds like a surfeit of confidence over knowledge, not a good trait in a teacher.

Find one of the many courses online and rip that off, but customise to make relevant and engaging.

Branching scenarios are good for that level of staff, keep it simple using the 3Cs model.

You begin with a challenge, then you give the user 3 choices, and then they are given one of 3 consequences. Learners pick up the point very quickly and oddly enjoy them, especially if you go down a few extra levels.
