Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle based electrical system design
• PLC and HMI Programming
• Selection of hardware appropriate for the application
• Creation and maintenance accurate CAD drawings
• Creation of bills of material
• Creation of instruction manuals, test procedures and other documentation.
• Providing support to shop-floor, stores and purchasing staff
• Liaison with suppliers and customers

Skills and Experience:

This position would best suit a person with the following:

• Experience of vehicle based systems including integration with vehicle manufacturer's CAN systems.
• In-depth knowledge of J1939 CANBUS systems.
• Experience of programming IFM hardware using CODESYS
• Working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems (IFM or similar)
• Ability to create accurate ISO electrical schematics using Solidworks Electrical
• Knowledge of relevant drawing standards
