Inaccurate negatives raised during performance review.
Discussion
Before I proceed with this I will say that I have only been with the company I work for, for 18 months and I am aware that I basically have zero rights.
I had my performance review earlier this week which has ultimately resulted in my position with the company being threatened.
The review itself was basically just 30 mins of being told things I have apparently done wrong or incorrectly, with no evidence presented and no goals, targets or anything of that sort presented.
I did voice during the meeting that what was being presented to me was wholly inaccurate.
It was that farcical that one of the points used against me was that some information had been issued to me while I was on annual leave recently, and had I have been here I would have `probably' missed some key points within that and cost the company thousands.
There were also 2 other points raised as negatives (the review did not include any positive points by the way) that I also disagreed with. I should point out that no evidence was presented to me proving my errors, but I knew for certain that I did have evidence to disprove what was being said.
All of the above was documented by HR at the time.
I have since provided unrefutable evidence that the points I knew to be incorrect, were actually incorrect. And these were given to my manager/company director as a hard copy. Whether that has reached HR I cannot be certain of?
I am aware that I am being managed out of the company, and I do know the reasons why this is happening.
I am not bitter about this, but I am very very angry as I know that this is wrong.
I'm not quite sure where else to go with this now? It's not a position I have ever found myself in before.
I do know that I cannot remain here, and I am looking for other positions. I have been offered another job already, but it is somewhere that I really really do not want to go to.

The company as a whole has wide failings. It has also recently lost a large, long-running and lucrative contract which has pretty much kept the company afloat for the past 3 to 4 years. I have had zero involvement with that contract during my time here.
As I am one of the more senior and higher paid members of staff, I believe they have identified my role as an area where money can be saved. Of course I can not say this for certainty, it's just my gut feeling.
I should have said in my opening post that this current situation is not exclusive to just me, at least 2 other members of staff in other departments are in the same situation as myself.

If you had the evidence to prove inaccurate and have provided it, I'm not sure there is much more you can do.
Sounds strange they would take such a route to manage you out when I think they could just call you in, say sorry mate, workload has gone, sorry to see you go but you are under 2 years, bye bye....or even....just...sorry, bye bye.

Being right, whether factual or not, will not help you in this instance.
The company is going through a tick-box exercise to manage you out.
Given that you do have zero rights, it may be worth having a frank sit-down chat with your superiors along the lines of
"Look, it's clear that you want me to go, let's talk about a small settlement and I'll save all this cost and hassle and go now"
Try and get 3 months' money out of them and head for the door.

Don't forget to get an agreement on what your reference will consist of too.The company is going through a tick-box exercise to manage you out.

I suspect the next step will be an "error" for which you get blamed and/or a "disciplinary" for something random.
As above, some without prejudice discussions with HR may be the next step to leave with some garden leave money and an agreed reference (which you draft and supply to them)

Thanks for the advice given, I will take note of that and try and have further discussions with them next week.
A couple of things I should probably clear up based on a few of the points raised above.
In no way do I feel as though I have been singled out. I just know that the 'Review' was unfair and innacurate.
HR was present for all other reviews that day, of which there were 6. Those 6 members of staff make up about 90% of our total office staff.
The reason for HR being present is basically down to the ineptitude of upper management, and their total lack of understanding of what a performance review actually is. This was the first time they had ever given them!
To explain my comment about ineptitude. The 2 members of upper management consists of 1 young guy who was given a company by his parents due to failing to make a success of perusing a career in art, the other director is a guy who started working at the company of the said parents as a labourer and worked his way up. Neither of them have any experience of anything else outside of this company (other than laying roads in the army)
Slight positive end to the week, is that I have already received a job offer at another place, albeit a place I really would not wish to work for given the choice. And I also have an interview at another company on Wednesday. This other company is one of the biggest engineering companies in the area and could be perfect for me should I be successful. I know that I already fulfil and exceed every criteria listed within the job description.
