Even before GDPR kicks in at the end of the month, I'd not be asking anyone to get access to someone else's emails. We can only do that here after someone has left the company and even then the requester has to nominate key words to search on. The data compliance officer has to then vet the emails to make sure no other personal information is visible and only gives the requester a copy of anything relevant. That has to be done with a witness alongside... It's a load of work and a pretty long winded task.Do you actually need the lazy manager's input or is it in his emails?
