I'm in a position that i need to find a new contract within IT, but i have to go out to the market, which I've not done in a long while.
Previously I've either been in a long contract, or I've spoken with someone that I've worked with in the past and managed to secure a role.
However now i need to have a look at the job boards.
Years ago i used Jobserve, but i'm guessing things may have moved on and new sites have popped up.

For IT specific roles, could anyone recommend sites or recruiters that i can try/contact?

Jobserve is still the best in my opinion.

Thank you for the sites.
Indeed turned up a few roles of interest. But it does seem that everything is still going through the Jobserve site.

I contract in the exact same realm as yourself, swear by Jobserve/LinkedIn. As long as you have lots of recruitment connections on LinkedIn and advertise yourself well, then they seem to come hunting for you.

I have had good experiences with Jobsite.

One tip is to re-upload your CV every morning, with a small change.

Isn't there a flag on LinkedIn that shows you're looking for a job? Might be worth turning that on, should alert the recruiters for you...

Fred, PM me your details and I'll reply to you privately. It may be that we potentially have something depending on your skillset and experience.

Thanks for this, just turned it on. Didn't even know it was there!

No worries - I think I only know about it because of a nagging email from LinkedIn! I seem to recall the flag is only visible to recruiters too...

I doubt there is a contract recruiter who doesn’t shove an ad on jobserve - it’s the de facto advertising medium for quick CVs. As mentioned, Linked-In is good too.
