Sounds like this is not your first rodeo into the sick leave arena...

Care to explain why you are concerned about it? Have you taken too much, whats the reason behind the current one?

Not sure if they can look at your attendance record, I would like to think they can so that they dont take on a habitually sick person, after all they are hiring for someone to do work and not take time off sick.

Won’t they be asking your current employer for a reference? Possible issue if they do unless they want you out then it could be a glowing reference.

A reference nowadays is more... X worked at Y for Z years, their work was of a satisfactory standard.

That way they cant get sued for giving a glowing reference of someone crap, and vice versa.

A reference only needs be factual. Sickness or attendance records can be provided.

Just to clarify my sickness record is spotless apart from this 1 occasion and I have been with the company for 4 years
