hi there my wife is a fully qualified nursery nurse with nvq level 3 and crb checked good work history, she cannot seem to land a different job at the moment.
already has a current job but does not like it and it is a long travel for not alot of money.
seems to be loads of positions advertised but she never even gets to interview stage for most of what is applied for.
I would be very very grateful to anyone that could possibly look over her c.v and maybe let me know how we could improve it or any other suggestions as she is losing confidence by not getting anywhere. (virtual beer tokens given)

what kind of nursery jobs is she applying for?
My wife is a qualified nursery manager and did a bit of a stint as bank staff for a council run one once her maternity leave finished.
She applied for many part time vacancies that came up but never got them. they always went to someone 'internal'
The general gist of it was that the council had to advertise the job outside and interview even if they had no intentions of taking on an outsider and merely employing somebody already working for the council, such as someone in a different nursery or someone looking to go from full to part time.
