Finding an employee quickly....
Discussion
Basically I am an electrical contractor, I have been using sub-contractors to manage my workload over the last 6 months.
However this one has now let me down, and I am now up s
t creek...
I think I am fed up with Subby's as they are fine to start with, they then find work of their own and make their excuses at a moments notice.
I think the time is ready to take a punt and employ a full time electrician, however I need one fast! (ie next week!)
Having never done this, I don't have a clue where to advertise etc?
I don't need someone overly experienced, someone who has recently qualified would do just fine for my domestic works.
So anyone any advice on where to look/advertise?
Cheers,
Oh and if anyone here (or knows anyone), knows their arse from their elbow and not colour blind in Bristol, let me know

I know nothing about the qualification process in your field however if you’re after someone recently qualified, tracking down an assessor could be a good start? Located either through a college or private company depending how things work, speak with assessor, find out who they’ve recently passed and offer a drink for putting you in touch with their star pupils?
