All going well I'm starting a new job in July or September this year. Nothing is final, although it's only a medical and fitness test. I've had friends pass all that and get told they aren't recruiting anymore.

I currently have two part time jobs (averages out at 36 hours a week over a four week period).

What are people's views on applying for a new job that is full time and more money knowing it's only going to be for five or seven months?

It isn't anything special, it's a delivery driver, so not something that will take ages to train up for.

Go for it.
If its more money and you want it then no reason not to.

Just as i was thinking. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't seen as a dick move.

I've just done it, only want the job until the Spring. They needed a person to fill the job, I filled it. Training has been minimum so I don't think it's cost a great deal to train me. Might go back again next winter so I don't feel guilty.

I don’t see it as a problem. Not least, your current plans could change and so you could end up staying longer.

If you need a job now, apply. None of us can guarantee future plans.

Good luck!
