Wondering if anyone has the formal list of all dr (and above) positions plus rough estimate of salary.

I’m thinking

Junior dr
GP Dr
Hospital Dr
Consultant
Surgeon

Any other roles?

Well, I'm a Love Doctor, and for just one or two small monthly deposits, I can cheer anyone's wife up.

The roles are split as in hospital
FY1 - house officer
FY2/ST1/ST2 - senior house officer
ST3-ST7/8 - Registrar
Consultant

If you are doing GP training you can finish after ST3
Pay is dependant upon unsocial hours and intensity but basic is generally

Consultant earns between 75 and 110
GPS could start at 60 with upper end dependant on if they own their practice.

So in a nutshell pay isn’t great for the hours and responsibility!

Ironically you're in the exact forum where all those threads seem to be started!

Clinical fellow depends on how senior you were when you were appointed and also whether you do oncalls so anything between 30 and 70k

They earn between 50-60 grand a month and have a 95% pension that they can claim from the age of 32. /PH

This is what I’m hoping this thread will prove. I believe there is an expectation that Drs earn a boat load where as a relatively low level management grade pays the same if not more than long term drs.

NHS Salaries are banded and are publically available. - https://www.rcn.org.uk/employment-and-pay/nhs-pay-...

Each trust may offer slightly more but not often.

Private clinics etc vary a lot and aren't really "set".

The Royal College of NURSING doesn’t have a role in doctors salaries. Look at the British Medical Association website

Yes I am ready an FD (divisional FD to more accurate). Any reason this has anything to do with my thread about Drs as it’s totally off topic?
