Morning!

We need to order a suitable desk chair for our front desk. An employee has re-occurring lower back / lumbar issues so must offer suitable adjustments. I appreciate this is a very subjective purchase.

Hopefully some of the Company Directors here have bulk-ordered a suitable chair which the workforce seem happy with.

If so can you post up a link. Amazon preferred.

Also our boss is a bit of a skinflint so cannot see him spending more than £100 probably much less.

Honestly, your budget limits things dramatically.

Good desk chairs are in excess of £1000.

Even good secondhand chairs such as those by Herman Miller or Steelcase are around £500

I paid £750 delivered for a nearly new HM 'Embody', which is an incredible chair.

Suggest to your boss that a good new chair might be cheaper than a claim by said employee wink

I have this still open on my phone, still not ready to spend the £500+ needed for a decent chair!

You won't get much for 100 quid, how's the boss like a claim against his firm... Likely to exceed that by a long margin.

Probably the Ikea Markus as also linked in the above T3 article. I was looking at that earlier.

Thanks all for the suggestions so far.

How tall are they ?

The only chair made which has the lumbar support high enough for me is a Posturepedic which costs over £1k.

I am 6 ft 2.
