Career help in motor industry
Discussion
Hi all,
Long story short, I discovered my immense passion for cars a little too late. If I could wind back the clock I would of gone into automotive engineering at uni. However, things haven't worked out this way, and I will shortly be completing my Economics BSc degree. I have also had a year working as an economist / statistician. With this background is there anyway I can begin a career in the motoring industry?
Cheers.

Of course there will be a way you can work in the industry - it depends on what you want to do.
I would suggest, however, to consider all career options and take into account options that might allow you to indulge your passions in buying nice cars . A risk of trying to combine a hobby with a job is that it rarely comes off but best of luck.
With an economics background you could be the guy that says “no, take the 6 cylinder out - it can get by with a 4-pot and we’ll make 59p more per car”
