Expectations different to contracted agreement

I work in the service industry visiting customers homes. My contract states that I work the hours necessary to complete the work issued to me on a daily basis. The day is planned at 10 hours with no breaks which is long and potentially not legal? There is no saying you CANT take a break but they aren't allowed for or mentioned in the contract.

Being relatively efficient at my job, I regularly get home around 2 hours earlier than my projected finish time. My KPI are not the best or the worst but certainly acceptable. I am regularly complained at and told that I'm home too early or not spending enough time on jobs - but there is no outline or expectation set out for any of that in the contract. I also don't stop for a long break, just pop to a shop to get a drink etc. The days work is pot luck and could be terrible and mean I'm not home till 8pm....if so - tough luck, I have to complete the days work. Hence it makes sense to get ahead of schedule in case of extra difficult or time consuming jobs. It also reduces stress to be efficient and ahead of schedule. It's been pointed out that some people are always home later than me - how it's my fault that they don't work efficiently is beyond me.
