I've been vetted to DV level with loans, mortgage, arrests and cautions and in the family etc. I wouldn't worry about it.

Also, don't "bombard" as you are one of many vetting's being done. Be patient, my vetting, took around six months back in the day.

Did you pass the vetting then?

Also I know that I'm not the only one they're vetting. I just wanted to be honest about my past as I'm obliged to.

Yes mate. Held DV for around 15 years so went through the smaller annual and more in depth seven (now five i think) year reviews a few times.

As you've done, be open and honest. Always akward in the interview when they ask " Do you watch porn"? You say "Yes of course" and they reply with "What type"? That is not the time to be talking in depth about any "weirdness" you're into haha

It also goes without saying that you shouldn't be discussing vetting stuff on social media - they do ask those questions as well.

So I've heard.

Absolutely - nothing given away as i checked what was available on google, before posting what I knew.

Know how crap it can be waiting for it to come through so you can start a job.

NPPV is pretty low level stuff. paperwork exercise.

Genuinely don't stress.

What I don't understand is - why it is short turnaround time (heard it took at least 1 week) for some people BUT a long turnaround time for others (1-6 months)?

This, its easier (and quicker) for them to find something that IS there than confirm something that isnt there......

Longer it takes the better - but dont bombard them with any more emails, just chill now. Its not a good look.
