What would you do ? Job offer

Ive been offered a chance to go up a pay grade in my current work. Although in a different department doing a different type of role but its very easy probably easier than what i do now.
When i reach the top of this grade in 4 years i will be earning 4k more than what i earn now.
T&C's are the same.

However, it is a dead end job theres almost zero chance of progression in the new job unless i retrain as a scientist! Which wont happen.

I do enjoy my current job but wouldnt mind a change tbh. But if i did stay put theres more chance of progression if and when it comes up !

What would you do ?

Only a 4k rise after 4 years? Pfft, no thanks...

Go with whichever job interests you the most or will allow you to go elsewhere for more money (if that's what you're in to).
