Corona virus and unemployment

Thought I'd start one virus thread...

I recently lost my job and with it accommodation.
Due to only having a week's notice I have moved into the other half's narrowboat.
So with no job, slim chances of getting a job (been working in hospitality), no address and dwindling funds, I just wanted to gather concensus that I am right royally fked up st creek without even a st paddle with a veritable st storm having not even truly started.

I may have to turn to piracy...

Many supermarkets and online retailers have jobs available currently, COOP I believe said they are offering 3,000 jobs to recently unemployed people. Surely you can attempt to find some work stacking shelves or as a delivery driver.

^^^ This. Finding a job at short notice has probably never been easier. If you're interested, my local hospital is advertising for cleaners.

I'm sure it will be, once I find someone who will let me use their address. I did use a friendly local pub for a delivery but that's now obviously out of the question.
I'll get something sorted, it's just a massive pain in the arse.

Uses a friend's, but that is unfortunately out of the question due to their circumstances with regards to the virus.
I'll sort something, without doubt. This was just a cathartic exhalation as well as a gentle reminder that there may be folks out there in unusual circumstances that may need a little help, though I am not one of them.

Now to find a cheap shed; lost my car with the job as well.
