Just wondering if anyone else is finding that whilst "working from home" cough, cough, that they are perusing the forums and classifieds quite a bit more?
Forums and classifieds aka straight onto Pornhub every morning .
Tell the truth , we’re all friends on here man.

Yeah, about 18 months ago I was lusting after an Elise but my sensible head said that I couldn't really afford it and I don't have anywhere to put it. Nothing has changed on that front but I've seen there's a nice red one at the garage down the road

Look at it this way - most people working in an office tend to spend significant proportions of time chatting, making a brew, having a s
t on work time etc. WFH means you do other kinds of procrastinating.
I think this is right, my weekly (IT Helpdesk) stats are similar to other weeks so I'll guess that my time wasting hasn't increased, it's just become less subtle.

Considering I have to work on some databases only accessible via our VPN and currently have WiFi down & upload speeds of <5 kbs there's a lot of time to be otherwise occupied as essentially can't do jack with those 'speeds'
Are you tempted to smash the laptop yet? I suppose it will teach you to use your resources wisely. Not SELECT * FROM etc
The obvious thing when you're WFH is that you have infinitely more time available to you compared to being in an office.
In my opinion, and it does vary with the type of job, but your breaks can be taken up with anything you want to do really. As long are you getting your work done.
For example, I had a bit of brain haze when looking at figures and data for most of the afternoon. It's a nice day, so I went out and mowed the lawn. A necessary house chore done in 30 mins, and something I now don't have to do on the weekend. People easily waste similar amounts of time in an office just wittering on to colleagues.

Anyway after numerous attempts to widen the VPN bandwidth, that actually made it worse, it seems better this week, 20 times faster (but then see speeds I was getting, it's still rubbish).
The poor hamster in the spinney blue wheel must be knackered
