Working from home in a job you don't enjoy. Stuck!

At times like these one should of course be grateful for having a job....
On the other hand, if you have a job that you do not like or find interesting/satisfying and would like to change for something else, but can normally just about tolerate due to working alongside good people and having a pleasant office and surroundings....
.... and are then forced to try to carry out the job at home in solitary confinement, with frequent interruptions by your children...
It becomes pretty much intolerable. Changes of job, or even more so career, are going to be pretty much impossible for the foreseeable future.....
And yes, first world problems and all that.
