Returning to the UK, job hunting tips?
Discussion
I am just dipping my toe in the water with this one. I have been living and working in the US for 15 years and am possibly considering returning to the UK. I am of course, out of touch with the UK employment market and would appreciate some pointers on where to start.
I have been in engineering (mechanical) and defense project management for my time in the USA. I'm 51 now, so that might be a hurdle. Forget the CV-19 thing for the moment as I have no timescale set on this for now. Initially I want to focus around the Brighton area.
In the UK its all about networking into new opportunities, is it the same in the UK now? Who might some reputable recruiting companies be, job websites, possible companies?
Thank you

I've kicked this idea around a couple of times since I found out that my brother was having a baby. I like the thought of being the crazy uncle but the idea of the way some things get done does my brain in. I'm not sure if I could adapt to living in the UK full time and all that goes with it.
