On Furlough, been given notice.
Discussion
Situation
1) Handed in notice, due to finish 12th April
2) 25th March asked to put on Furlough, hotel closing and new employer retracted offer. They agreed, worked for them for nearly 5 years and asked me to sign a letter on a rolling one month notice period. I signed.
3) I earn a lot more than the furlough 80% scheme so been quite a hit but took the view better than nothing and grateful current employer agreed.
4) Fast forward and current Employer has served me notice .
I always expected to go back and work that notice to handover.
My current employer has now served 1month notice to finish towards end of next month, they haven’t confirmed a breakdown of final pay but have requested this.
I suspect they will use the furlough pay as my notice pay? Or am I entitled to full pay? Everyth8ng I find online is not specific.
Thanks in advance from a soon to be unemployed stressed parent.

If I understand correctly.
You handed your notice in and should have left the company 12th April.
Covid happened and you lost your new job offer and was in the s
t.
The company you wanted to leave then did you the favor of keeping you on and Furloughed so you could get some money, even though you should have left them a month ago.
They now want you off the books and are giving you a months notice.
If that is the case you're lucky they didn't tell you to do one when your notice expired the 12th April.
They can use Furlough pay as your notice pay.

If you're not actually working, i.e. still furloughed, then it's reasonable to expect furlough pay for the rest of your notice period. If your furlough had ended and you're back at work, then you'd be back on full pay which, I'd expect, would continue until you left.
You've not said specifically but I'm assuming you're still furloughed? In which case, I can't think why you'd even think full pay would be an option. Are other members of staff being let go too? It's a crap situation for sure and I genuinely sympathise.
