Afternoon All,

Just looking at some jobs / roles for the future and came access some titled Business Continuity Manager or Business resilience manager.

In my current job we produce and enact resilience and continuity planes, and since COVID 19 we have smashed out loads. I didn't realise it was a specific role for a person, I just assumed that most managers did it as part of their day job.

So having a look around I only found a single source of qualification / certification in the UK:

BCI Link (https://www.thebci.org/training-qualifications/good-practice-guidelines.html)

Offering a number of qualifications and a diploma, inc some letters after your name if you so desire!

Has anyone on here undertaken courses with BCI, is anyone currently / was previously a resilience / continuity manager?

Widen your search to 'emergency planning' (which covers more than just BCM) and you'll find a lot more organisations offering courses/qualifications/accreditation etc.
