You have to answer this question as part of an HR test..
Discussion
Just throwing this out there for opinions - I'm sure some of you have probably already seen this test previously - but what would you think is the correct answer!
Q) When thinking about acting positively, what does 'doing the opposite action' mean?
A) It means creating a positive experience out of something negative
B) It means discouraging a person from doing anything you don't think they should
C) It means doing the opposite of what you've been asked to do.
I know the correct answer (I got it wrong) but just interested to see what others think.

It's a poorly worded question....... and I don't think it directly means any of those answers.....is there a bit of the question missing?Q) When thinking about acting positively, what does 'doing the opposite action' mean?

I think the action in the first part is "thinking" - so 'doing the opposite action' would be to "not think about acting positively" which is none of the possible answers.

That's exactly as it appeared on screen.

Crap question, but I would say A as well.Q) When thinking about acting positively, what does 'doing the opposite action' mean?

Your end goal/thought is doing something positive so doing the opposite action would make me think of turning any negative into a positive.

'A' was the correct answer.

Surely A isn't the "correct" answer, merely the one the person who made up the question thought was the right answer. Q) When thinking about acting positively, what does 'doing the opposite action' mean?
A) It means creating a positive experience out of something negative
To me none of those answers are are right as they're all positive when the response should be the opposite.
