Have you been made redundant due to COVID 19 ?
Discussion
Depending how you look at it we have benefited massively from Covid. I'm in NZ and due to travel restrictions people are spending the money on new kitchens like they're going out of fashion. . In the 6 months from our 1st lock down we have a year's worth of work.
The down side is the amount of hours we are now working. And things are running low/out here, just off the top of my head: glass, malfoid tape, draw runners/hinges, stone and edge tape are all in sort supply. This means that as soon as we think we've caught up (currently running 3 weeks behind) all that stock will eventually turn up and we'll be back to being behind again.

I’m being made redundant, fortunately have managed to find another position. I leave on Friday and start the new job Monday.
Lots of other managers/assistant managers in my position and head office redundancies have decimated the staff there.
Reading between the lines, the staff cuts were in the pipeline, COVID just gave an excuse.
