I started work for a US based startup in October, self-employed and receiving a monthly fee. They have now offered me a permanent role with the company, but as I'm the only person outside of the US, it's via a PEO firm.

The contract say UK law applies, it also states my employer is both the US company, and the UK based PEO. I'm guessing this now starts the clock for my employment at the company?

Anything I should be wary of?

Thanks!

Taxation? being employed by the US firm may mean tax returns in the USA and trying to decipher who you have to pay. TBH I am not sure, are the PEO paying you?
