Working while covid shielding
Discussion
Ignoring the rights and wrongs from the employees perspective what position does it put an employer in if someone who is advised to shield continues to work (not just from home) in a covid safe way, ie. lone working in complete isolation.
I suspect the answer is it would make them liable for any issues?
(local authority school BTW)

I shielded from March to August.
I've just had the letter/text/email to tell me to shield again.
I'm not
Different jobs I'm a lorry driver and everywhere we go is so over compliant its unreal.
I'm insured through work for death in service so in not sure how it would work if I was to catch it and die.
but after 4 months twiddling my thumbs I'll take the risk.
I'm more careful than some but I spend all day on my own and come in to contact with about 3/4 people day.
